Responsibilities:
- Interventional pain management services to include patient evaluations
- Chronic and acute pain management
- Do not want someone who wants to do procedures solely
- Some patients will see the physiatrist at the outset and other patients will be referred from the neurosurgeons
- This physiatrist will also be responsible for generating his/her own referrals
- The practice’s goal is to get the patient in their practice sooner and treated by the best discipline whether that be injections, PT, MRI, or straight to the neurosurgeon. They pride themselves on providing the appropriate care.
