Practice Features: 20-bed rehab, average census of 14.
Responsibilities: Inpatient/outpatient mix
Affiliation: Can be an independent contractor OR a practice associate of a 7-person physiatry group with 5 offices OR a hospital employee
Compensation: If an independent contractor, there is a $60,000 – $72,000 stipend plus professional
receipts; if a practice associate, there is a salary plus incentive of a quarterly bonus; take a monthly draw; their overhead is 42% – 45%; the doctors in the practice are in the top 1%- 2% in the country for volume and salaries
