Facility Features:
- 22-bed rehab unit with an average census of 19
- The 362-bed acute care hospital has an average census of 200; is a Level III trauma center
- The hospital is building a new outpatient building
- Teaching hospital and has a hospitalist program
Responsibilities:
- Inpatient
- Consults are available
- Can also be Medical Director, Outpatient which could include sports medicine work
- Call would be shared with the orthopedic surgeon and a physiatrist; most call is by phone
Affiliation:
- Employee, part of physician-hospital organization
Compensation:
- Salary plus a Medical Director stipend plus an incentive program
Reason for looking:
- Replacement of Orthopedic Surgeon who is Acting Medical Director
Candidate Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Qualified physiatrist with excellent interpersonal and communications skills; Spanish speaking skills ideal
