REHAB HOSPITAL EMPLOYEE POSITION

Location: MISSISSIPPI

Summary: All inpatient.  Inpatient opportunity includes stroke, ortho, amputee, general debility, etc. “Unless you have visited MS recently, your perception of it is most probably wrong and dated.” – Per one of the rehab hospital’s physiatrists. The city has upscale shopping areas, cuisine restaurants, and luxurious waterfront housing communities. It is a growing area and within 3-6 hours of New Orleans, Memphis, Atlanta, Dallas and FL cities. Easy suburban living. A stable work environment to include secure payment in terms of the salary arrangement plus an incentive.

Center Features: Work with 2 well-respected, Board Certified physiatrists at the hospital that is about 10 minutes from the outpatient center and provides comprehensive medical rehab programs for people with SCI, TBI, stroke and other neurological and orthopedic disorders. It is the third most recognized hospital name in MS. There are orthopedic, neurology and brain injury teams located on patient floors dedicated to each service. The hospital was originally built in 1975 and later added 4 more floors. Annually, the spinal cord injury program sees more than 200 inpatients, the brain injury program sees 200 inpatients, and the stroke program sees more than 500 inpatients.
There is a Brain Injury Day Treatment Program which has 8-10 patients on average.
The CEO has been there for 16 years and the average tenure of the CEO, COO and CFO is 21 years. The doctors are participating in this candidate selection process.
